It’s the Venti things in Life that Make Me Happy..
Back in July we walked into Starbucks and found the new insulated tumblers that look like the Starbucks cold drink glasses. I use that glass every day. I love it. Here’s that blog. I only wish it were a Venti and not a Grande. Venti is the Large 20oz and Grande is the Medium 16 oz. Imagine my surprise to walk in to Starbucks only to find they have CHRISTMAS insulated tumblers!
It’s a Venti.. (the biggest size)
I was so excited when I saw this.. I almost kissed the
Barista. It’s weird how little things like this can
make a girl happy.

Back in Spring/Summer
these bad boys (with the green straw) were selling
for around $80.00 each on eBay! The current
Christmas cup is all over the place in price.
Really.. I’m not crazy.. check out all these other people that have been blogging about their love for this glass…
The Self Family This blog is adorable!
Facebook Chat Here’s a whole group of people chatting about it!
If a Cat is Sleeping on Your Leg Do you have to Make Dinner?
Oh Gregory.. why do you try to make me like you? I was just trying
to work.. and you felt the need to snuggle with my leg.
Look how happy he is… I’m kind of afraid to move. I might
disturb him. Maybe I can call The Man and tell him I can’t make
dinner tonight because if I get up.. I’ll disturb Gregory.
I’m not sure if he’ll buy that.. However, Gregory thinks he will.
Proper Planning and New Moon
Have you read the Twilight Series books? I would have NEVER read them if I wasn't a youth leader. I'm just not a vampire/werewolf kind of girl. I will admit I did enjoy them.. which is why I took some of the youth from our church, #1 and #4 to see New Moon.
I brought my camera to take pictures of the excitement of the
movie opening. Unfortunately I was caught up in the excitement
and didn't THINK about my camera until after the movie.
The Crystal Plaza Theater in Ottawa is pretty cool. New Moon
was sold out.. it was a good thing that I bought our tickets on
Wednesday. There was many unhappy teenagers that did not plan
well for this movie. I say that, because there were LOTS of adults
in the movie that were all happy they bought their tickets in advance.
Which reminds me of that line from Fried Green Tomatoes;
Evelyn a middle aged woman is waiting on a parking spot, two girls take her spot.
Evelyn: Hey! I was waiting for that spot!
Girl #1: Face it, lady, we're younger and faster!
[Evelyn rear-ends the other car six times]
Girl #1: What are you *doing*?
Girl #2: Are you *crazy*?
Evelyn: Face it, girls, I'm older and I have more insurance.
I believe all the adults there at the movie would have said
"Face it kids, we're older and have better planning skills"
My camera has been acting up since I went to The Pioneer
Woman's book signing.. Which is going to be my excuse
for the photo above and below.
