Stir Crazy Fresh Asian Grill
10598 Old Olive Street Road
Creve Coeur,MO63141
The Man and I went to Saint Louis for a "nerd" convention. We found this place in
Creve Coeur Missouri (just outside of Saint Louis).
The place is decorated pretty funky.. I love this giant shrimp between two chop sticks!
Did I say I love this shrimp? It hangs in the air…
The Man order Kung Pao Chicken ($8.99) (it came with a spring roll and the yummy sauce).
I asked the man what he thought.. he said; "It's pretty good". He's a man of few words..
probably because he married a woman with quite a few words.
I had the Mongolian beef ($8.99). I ordered it without mushrooms and added water
chestnuts. They had no problem customizing my meal for me. The meat was easy to cut
with my fork, and the sauce had the right spices. My only problem? I wish it had just a little
more sauce on my rice.
Even Traveling Batman loved the meal!
He had issues with the chop stix though.. Don't you love red chop stixs?

Would You Eat at a Place called the FLEA?
Westport Flea Market 817 Westport Rd Kansas City MO 64111
This is the Side View of the Flea Market.. some people call it the "Flea". I call it LOVE. It’s my favorite place to get a cheeseburger. For those of you that have never been there, it’s part eatery-bar-pub type place and the other part is a Flea Market. (a chubby eBayer’s dream) I just wish the flea market part of it was open at other times beside Saturday and Sunday. I never seem to get down there on Saturday or Sunday. OH.. and it’s a cash only establishment..
Here’s my chef.. Look at those burgers… I’ve NEVER eaten anything else but a Flea Market Burger, Fries and Cheese Dip. NEVER… I have no idea if the other food is good. I only know that if you don’t have a cheeseburger there, I can not guarantee how happy the rest of your life will be.
The Flea Market has an interesting history: The infamous Kansas City serial killer Bob Berdella had a booth in the flea market part of the building. He was a real freak show.. (as serial killers are).. I would tell my mother I had a "Berdella Burger" just to freak her out.
I also bought a pair of 6" clear heel shoes there for a 1.00 and sold them for 30.00 on eBay!
I prefer to have some of their orange sauce (Thousand Island Dressing) and a tomato on my burger. How much does this bad boy cost? about 6.95.. but how can you put a price on L O V E ?
OOOH.. don’t forget their cheese sauce. So good with some fries..
Tuesday is 2 for 1 night on the burgers..
MMM… Heaven… I love this place so much, I’ve asked the man to take me there for Mother’s Day..
Oklahoma Joes = Mighty Good Q
Mighty Good Q = Oklahoma Joes Barbeque
Where: Oklahoma Joes Barbeque
11950 Strang Line Road Olathe, KS
I am from the Mid-West, and was born in Kansas City. To say that I love Barbeque doesn’t really cover it. I’ve even dreamed about Barbeque. One of my favorite resteraunts is Oklahoma Joes. I’ve never been to the original Oklahoma Joes. It’s in Shawnee, Kansas (a suburb of KC) and in a gas station or something..
There is usually a line when you walk in the place.. and on this night there was a line. Wait time is usually only 5-15 minutes. (so don’t let the line scare you)
I should tell you I order the same thing every time I go.. a Z man sandwich and fries. This is a Z man.. Barbeque beef brisket, on a toasted bun with cheese and onion ring on top. It is so good.
I like sauce.. but to me Barbeque is about the meat… this meat is fall-apart-tender.. and the flavors.. are so good.
The Man varies what he gets.. this day he had a Hog Heaven. Polish Sausage, and pulled pork.
I love the fries and I love the onion rings. When you order the fries at Oklahoma Joes they give you more than enough to share. The Man and I always share Onion rings and fries when we go.
Here’s Child #3 enjoying a Z Man
Child #2 and his Z man.. you can tell by the closed eyes.. it’s almost a religious experience for him.
I thought this was funny.. They were stickin’ it too the Man..
Oklahoma Joes Z-man sandwich was the inspiration for my Z-Man Grilled Pizza. Watch for it.. I’ll be making it soon.
