Peanut Butter Marshmallow Treats
The Man loves peanut butter… I’m always looking for something with peanut butter that will make him happy. A few weeks ago someone made Rice Crispy Treats with this hard coating type frosting. After eating those, I thought why not make them with Captain Crunch instead of Rice Krispies? So here they are.. I hope you like them!
These are so good. If you like peanut butter you will love these.
The ingredients are super easy.. Peanut Butter Captain Crunch,
marshmallows, butter, peanut butter chips, peanut butter
and if you really love peanuts you can add those too.
Melt 4 tablespoons of butter.
Add a bag of marshmallows stir until melted.
Add Peanut Butter Chips to bowl..
Add 1/2 of the big box or all of a small box of Captain Crunch
Peanut Butter crunch cereal.
Add melted marshmallows, and 1/2 cup of peanut butter.
Mix together. Make sure all the peanut butter chips and cereal
have been coated with marshmallow.
Add to 13×9 pan.
Let cool and serve!

Peanut Butter Bundt Cake with Butterfinger Ganache Glaze
The Man loves peanut butter. I found this recipe.. and it was delicious.
For the Cake
1C Sour Cream
3 Large Eggs
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 1/4 C flour
1tsp baking power
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup smooth peanut butter
1 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
For the Glaze
8 ounces semisweet chocolate
2 tbls unsalted butter
1 Butterfinger bar chopped
Here’s the ingredients.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 12-cup Bundt pan and dust with flour.
(unless you have a well used Pampered Chef one like I have)
Put 1 cup of peanut butter in your mixing bowl.
Add 1 1/2 cups of brown sugar.
Mix together well.
Mix Flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together.
Add the flour mixture to the peanut butter and brown sugar.
Mix.
Add eggs
And Sour Cream..
Mix together and add the butter. (I melted mine.. because well I forgot to
soften it.)
Mix
Pour into the bundt pan.. and pop it in the oven for 40-45 minutes.
When your cake is done let it cool on a rack for a little while….
While that’s cooling… make the ganache!
You need a double-boiler. I don’t have one.. so I’ve made one. I take one
pan and fill it half way with water. I then put this cool stainless steel bowl on
top of the pan… and Bob’s your uncle… you have a double boiler.
Add Milk to your “bowl” and turn the heat up so the water starts to boil.
Add Butter to the milk.
Chop up the chocolate…
Add the chocolate. If your water is boiling.. turn it off now.
Mix the chocolate, butter and milk together until it’s smooth.
Smash your Butterfingers.. I used 5 “fun size” instead of 1 large one.
Spoon the chocolate ganache over the cake.
You could leave it at this…
We like a lot of chocolate…
Add the smashed Butterfingers.
Yummy and moist!
