Gardening..
My mother in law is quite a gardener. I have proof..
I think this is a Mandvilla..
How would you like to sit here and read a book?
Isn’t this cute?
I wrote a whole blog about this front door one time..
(I have issues..)
Here’s #4 hanging out on the front porch.. don’t you
love the fern? I think she feeds them something to make
them grow that large..
When I grow up.. I want to be a gardener just like her.. or
maybe I can get #1 to do it
You never Know Who You’ll Run into at McDonald’s
I’m not a big rap fan.. well, I like old rap more than the new stuff. (All
information you are dieing to know.. right?) This spring
I was going through the drive thru at McDonald’s in Olathe, KS.. (to get a large
iced tea with 3 splenda) and saw the TechN9ne (or Tech Nine for those of us
that are older than say 30) van.
Apparently Krizz Kaliko and TechN9ne were sharing a Big Mac or something.
They both were in the same McDonalds.
Does this make me cool?
I didn’t think so..
I also saw Boys Like Girls in the Westport Flea Market Check it out HERE.
Sometimes We Get a Second Chance… to Blow Some Stuff Up!
We were rained out on Sunday (see HERE).. but Monday night was
perfect night to blow a few things up. We didn’t get to go to my
friend Tammy’s, but the city of Ottawa had a “Blow Up Make Up” party.
What’s a party without a little drama? #4 was not happy about something..
I think some one took his chair..
By the looks of this picture #5 had something to do with it.
Maybe it was this kid.. he’s not related to me.. but he should be
OH.. are you and your family doing that Volkswagen “punch” thing?
If you are here’s a free one for you.. Silver one!
It was starting to get dark.. and we broke out the glow sticks.
This kid is using his for a halo..
They can also be used as hair sticks..
Just in case you were wondering.. #4 perked up after the glow sticks
came out.
Happy Fourth of July!
A Little Trip To Nell Hill’s
While up in North Kansas City I took a trip to Nell Hill’s. If you’ve never
been there.. you should go. The place is fabulous!
The prices are pretty good too. There is something for everyone.
While we were there we even saw Mary Carol Garrity.. (she’s the
owner and founder). I wish I would have taken pictures… We were sitting
on a fabulous couch.. and she stopped to ask if we thought it was comfortable,
#1 and I said “yes”.. P*Tricky said; “It’s OK.”
I love this table and chairs.. except it’s not big enough to fit the
family… What I really need is 2 long benches for either side of my
table. We have 3 chairs on each side and 2 chairs at the head of the
table. With the 3 chairs next to each other the kids do not have
much room to move around.
I love how they use vines and leaves.. in the decorating.
I need this greenhouse.. Not to trap a ginger in.. but it would look nice
out back!
#3 wanted this quilt. I wanted that plate rack!
The whole upstairs is full of stuff for the bedroom.. beautiful!
I love this iron canopy bed!
P*tricky likes the chair.. and so do I.
I love that wicker sphere thing…
Nell Hills has a couple of locations. The one I visited was at Briarcliff Village.
