Grade “A” Mother
Painted by Brad Bunkers see it on ETSY
**note to The Man.. I want this painting.. You should buy it for me
I’ve had an interesting childhood. I would never say it was bad, because I believe that everything that happens to us in our life makes us who we are… and except for a few pounds, (and some small personality defects) I wouldn’t change much about who I am or who I’ve become.
I say this because sometimes I miss having a mother. I was fortunate enough to have two mothers. One that gave birth to me and took care of me until I was six, and another that adopted me. Neither of them are in my life currently. Sometimes like today, that makes me sad. I would love to share my life with my mother. I would love to have a mother to mentor me through all of this stuff in life that overwhelms me sometimes. I would love to have someone to share how fortunate I am to have 5 children (that I never thought I would have). I would like to have someone to give that painting to. But for now.. I will feel blessed that I am a mother and that I am apart of 5 very unusual lives.
#3, #2, #4 (their fat mother) #1 and #5
You want to Make a Memory… Try Again
I really wanted to take a photo of The Man and I at midnight on New Years eve. You know.. to have a memory of us on the cusp of 2010.. Here is what happened..
Wow.. we got an ear and an eye..
Better except The Man looks like he took some NyQuil or Unisom
a half hour ago.. and my eyes.. well, they look bloodshot!
is this better? I don’t even know.
NyQuil has taken effect..
Look at his face! Distrust has come between us.. and I don’t even
know it. (the wife is always the last to know)
These were the best of our
“midnight together photos”. You know we should have just asked one of the
other 8 people that were in the house with us that night to take our
picture… anything would have been better than this.
Speaking of photos on New Years Eve…………………….

We went out with my “Mon ami” from high school and her man.
Luckily before we left for dinner at PF Changs.. We snapped some photos
together..

Not bad.. the man looks like he was taken by surprise.. and well..
I look like a midget even though I was on my toes and Mon Ami was
bending her knees.

Here’s the perfect New Year’s Eve Midnight Photo.. I asked
why he took it.. he said; “I’ve always wanted a photo of myself
upside down”… um OK #2..
Please Be Responsible for Your Children
You know that old saying.. “There is one in every crowd”.. I’m not sure that applies to my family. I think for some reason the combination of The Man and my genes have made our children weird. If there is a ruckus going on.. my children are some how involved.
Before going into this really cool toy store at Crown Center I saw
this sign. Apparently #3 saw the sign too.
I think he just wanted a picture with Hello Kitty.
Exactly.. point out the obvious #4.

Closing the door is not going to help, #5. By the way.. nice Ben 10
jacket and Omnitrex watch.
Pepper Berry Plants?
We have these weird plants with berries that grow in the late fall around my house. I've always called them pepper berries. I don't think that's what they really are..
Pretty aren't they?
I sent #2 and #3 out to find some to use to fill the vases we have.
I gave #2 specific instructions to take photos of #3 cutting the berries.
This is the only "head shot" I got of #3. Not the most attractive photo.
She looks like she's afraid of the camera!
Here's the other photo he took of her.. She has a really nice
forearm huh?
Nice photo of a pretty November Sky.
I love color of these berries with the lime green yellow of the leaves.
I wish the leave stayed this color when I put them in my vases.
My favorite photo! I love the evergreen plant with the berries.
I found this photo at the end of the set of Pepper Berry Pictures.
Maybe this is #3's way at getting back #2 with the dorky picture…
I know that is my plan.
