I'm taking the Pinterest Photo a Day Challenge.  Today's Photo is "MY VIEW".. I thought maybe I'd take a view from our front porch… then I thought maybe I'd just take a view of what I can see where I am sitting.  The view from my front porch is better than this..

Here's what's in front of me.  My laptop, sunglasses, scissors, birthday card, iced tea (not much ice in it), Star Wars light up candy light sabers, #4's MP# player, USB Cord, back scratcher, and my Chumby (that needs a new plug)

To the right of me is this kid #5.  He woke up last night not feeling so good.

To the left of me is this kid.. #2.. He's working.  Please ignore the mess behind him AND that we have not taken all of our Christmas junk down.  Most of it is down.. we just have a few stragglers here and there.

This little baby turns ONE year old today.  In order to check out his growth I like to take before and after photos.

#4 and #6 the day he came home from the hospital.

And now.

Yesterday afternoon I was running errands.. and on that little errand jaunt I passed the hospital and LITERALLY thought.. "I haven't taken our kids to the emergency room since #2 was a baby!" 

You know what happens when a mom says that?

goose egg, knot on the head, head injury, child

Sweet #5 and his goose egg.

I took all my kids to church and #5 was running in the youth room.. tripped and hit his head on a chair.  The result is that huge goose egg. 

Here's what the goose egg looks like today.

PS That kid has some SERIOUS eyebrows

Santa brought #5 some kind of spinning light saber.  Which only means one thing…

Light Saber battles in the kitchen.

#5 is Luke Skywalker.

This would be Darth Vader, apparently, he's captured Yoda.

Yoda doesn't seem to mind.

I think they've reached an impasse.

No Luke Skywalkers or #5's were hurt in the making of this blog…

Epic battles make Yoda tired.
