Tires… tires have been totally kicking my behind here lately.

The Man and I have had our fair share of tire problems lately. His front tire blew this week. He put the donut on.. and it blew a few short days later. He has a pretty common car.. but unbelievably we have to order his tires.. and they won't be in for a week!?!?

Thursday we discovered my tire is low.. took it in to Walmart (where we bought them) and they say it has a cut and it can't be repaired. It should be covered under the "tire hazard".. but neither myself nor Walmart can find our paperwork Tires.. you can't live with them.. and you can't live without them..

About this time every year I think about The Man.. and I feel sorry for him. When I met him he was this super skinny guy that wore 28/36 jeans and these ugly bright colored western shirts. He had a cleaning lady and a pretty quiet life living out on 40 acres, doing his own thing… driving a big red Dodge 4×4 truck.

The he met me…

He still lives out on 40 acres.. but his cleaning lady is gone, his truck is gone (because you can't fit 5 kids in a truck), and his quiet life is well.. history (remember the 5 kids?). He's still pretty thin.. but his 28" waist days are gone too..

Because we live in the middle of no where.. we seem to get a lot of stray animals.  The man has never liked dogs very much… but he shows patience with ours.  He really likes cats… fortunately for him we seem to have our fair share.

This is Mittens.  She seems to think The Man is well.. HER Man.

She snuggles up on his lap every night and PURRSSS..

I think she’s smiling.. because she knows she’s won this battle.

The Man fixed my computer…  and my mother was right…  it is good to have a man around that can fix things!
