Our family has always been obsessed with Napoleon Dynamite.  If you are not familiar with this classic movie… you are probably not missing much. 😉 I’m not sure why we love it.. but we do.  It’s funny, innocent, and bizarre.  I guess to sum it up.. It’s movie about some really strange but familiar characters.

This is Uncle Rico.  He’s having his photo taken at a “Glamour Shots” type place.

Here’s the conversation…

[Deb, while taking a glamour picture of Uncle Rico]
Deb Okay, turn you head on more of a slant… Now, make a fist. Slowly ease it up underneath your chin. This is looking really good.
Kip You can say that again.
[Uncle Rico acknowledges]
Deb Kay, hold still right there. Now, just imagine you’re weightless, in the middle of the ocean, surrounded by tiny little seahorses.
[Uncle Rico gives a gleaming look at the camera]
Deb [takes the picture] That was one that I think is gonna come out really nice.
Uncle Rico Ah, how you did it… wow… well I felt really relaxed. Thanks Deb.
[Uncle Rico puts his fist down, then swats a fly]

Here’s what the men in my family look like doing the same thing:

The Man.. whenever he thinks of relaxing his tongue comes out.

#2 is thinking about tiny seahorses and making WordPress blogs.

#4 thinking of doing cannonballs next to his sister #3.

#5 is thinking of Transformers, Spiderman or some superhero.
