Best Offer Messages

I woke up this morning with a whole lot of offers. That’s good right? Except over half of them had some “statement” or message as to why they were making that offer.

Item retails for 32.00 I have it listed at 16.99 with free shipping and returns. They offer 10, because “it’s not their favorite color”. I understand what they are saying: They want this item, but not really if it is this color. The color I have listed is this companies 2nd most popular color.

What do you think about the “Buyer’s Feedback 100% positive” What else could it be? You can’t give negatives to buyers. This doesn’t really seem like a selling point does it?

Does eBay put this kind of information in for sellers? I will have to go check it out.

This item retails for 42.00. I have it listed for 21.00 with free shipping and returns. The manufacturer had it listed for 12.58 with free shipping. How can I compete with that?

I had one more, from a Canadian buyer. Her statement was “I have to pay duty. Please accept offer.” Her item retailed at 78.00 and I was selling it for 34.99 with free shipping and returns. Her offer? 8.00.

What are some of the crazy offers you’ve received?
