Times They are a Changin’

Tuesday I went to help this girl scope out her SECOND.. (that’s the number 2) location. If you’ve been following me for very long you’d know that #3 is passionate about dance. She’s been dancing since she was 4.

pointe shoes, ballet, trying on pointe shoes
Here she is in her first point shoes.

Her life long dream is to have her own dance studio. When she was 15 we got this crazy idea she could open one in our church.. just one night a week. She did that for a year and got so big, we rented a building. She’s been running her studio for 4 years now.

My view from backstage at 2019 recital.

This year she is opening a new studio in a second location.

We could not be prouder of her! She’s the bomb!

Currently: Needlepointing

#1 bought me this Kirk and Bradley Poppy and Trellis needlepoint for Mother’s Day. If you are a needlepointer, please don’t judge my ho-hum stitching. Back in the day when I was taught to needlepoint, we just did the old continental stitch. Now days all the cool people do fancy stitches.

What are you crafting?

** On a side eBay note. 89% of my needlepoints are purchased on eBay. Do you know the difference between Needlepoint, cross stitch or embroidery? If you don’t you should learn. Theses little suckers can be quite expensive. If you come across hand painted needlepoints… always grab them!
