Monday I had a problem. A real “first world” problem, but an issue to me just the same.
The Man with my Kitchen Aid
I know many people have Kitchen Aid mixers, but this one is special to me. It was a wedding present, something I’ve cherished, and I use 5 out of 7 days a week. Monday I had big plans for this baby… I was making mashed potatoes, dark chocolate buttercream frosting and peanut butter frosting. This thing was going to get a workout.
As I was making the dark chocolate buttercream, it would only turn on a higher speed. I screamed, and called for The Man. He came in touched it and it worked again.. and then it didn’t.
See that white wire? After 20 years.. it broke.
But you know what? The Man fixed it. Crisis averted. Just like my mother told me 20+ years ago; “It’s good to have a man who can fix things.”
