This July I had a birthday, not my favorite number, but it’s better than the alternative. Here is a glimpse of my weekend.

We celebrate my birthday weekend with a “stay-cation”. Our first stop was the Museum at Prairie Fire. This is a beautiful building with some dinosaur stuff in it.

We swam at the hotel

And we ate lot’s of food

It is my own little birthday tradition that we go to the Nelson Atkins Art Museum.

Each year for my birthday we try to give ourselves a little culture. The Nelson Atkins museum of art is the best way for our family to do that. Here are a few photos from our day..
