I’ve been baking a little this summer.

Double Dark Chocolate Cake with Dark Chocolate Butter Cream Frosting.

This little creation #4 and I thought up… Double Berry Boston Cream Pie…

We had a sample of some fruit and pudding and he thought it would be good

with cake.  So this Double Berry Boston Cream Pie was invented.

This doesn’t look so good.. but it was delicious.  I’m going to make it

again..I have a few ideas to make it look better..

Blueberry Pie.  This pie was pretty good, but I should have put a “full”

pie top on instead of a lattice.   I think the blueberries would have baked

better.. or something like that 🙂

It’s a Birthday Party for a Pookie

Today is my SWEET #3’s Birthday… We had a small party with her friends yesterday..

3 Cuties.. huh?

Why must boys try to look weird when they are standing with girls?

They swam.. and I’m pretty sure it was like -40 yesterday.. OK maybe 65 degrees.

They ate some cake.. and laughed.

Blowing out her (1st) cake of her Birthday..

Opening some super cool gifts.

Don’t you like how #4 and #5 seem to get in every photo?

Tissue paper can be used as a weapon at a Girls Birthday party…

We had our family party tonight.. here’s some highlights..

#3 fancy’s herself as an artist so she received a super cool artist

backpack with all the art supplies.

We are pretty fancy with the wrapping paper.. and don’t you love the DVD’s on the floor behind her?

What we make up the whole “newspaper” wrapping paper thing with a

5 layer homemade Peanut Butter Chocolate cake (cake #2).

OH.. and remember that planner I loved.. Well I received it and it was perfect..

But not perfect for for keeping track of 4 homeschool kids and 25 subjects… So

I re-gifted it for my sweet #3

Is that a re-gift if I gave it too myself?

We celebrated The Man yesterday. We bought him gifts and made him a meal..

(we even let him have his favorite skunky beer)

Our appetizers were onion rings. Made out of vidalia onions .

Ribeyes, corn on the cob, garlic green beans, & Smashed Potatoes

I also made him a 6 layer Peanut Butter Chocolate cake.

The meal turned out pretty good.

The Gifts.. were ok, except for one… Note to self when you buy shorts for your husband,

don’t do it in the young men’s section.

Flashing the Gang Signs

Well.. I guess all size 34 pants are not built the same. Some are made for the younger generationn,

they are longer and baggier. The Man here is from the generation where you ALWAYS

wear a belt, and you never show your underwear.
