Last Thursday we were out in Lee's Summit. I noticed the Starbucks that I had visited on NUMEROUS occasions.. and the first place I first tasted my favorite drink… White Chocolate Mocha (non fat). Had changed. It no longer was a free standing, non-moving building, but a trailer.. on WHEELS!

Seriously… This is Starbucks.

The cones are part of the drive thru. You can sorta see in the background the old Starbucks that is being re-modeled.

Here is the storage area. Festive basket huh?

This remodeling-Starbucks in a trailer.. cracks me up.

I wanted to ask the employees..

What the customers think of the new building?
Do they still have wifi?
Has anyone stolen anything from the "storage" shed?
Anyone ran over your drive thru cones?
Have customers been nice or do they complain?
Had any strange people take photos of the new operation? 😉

About 6 years ago my dad (“the old dude”) sold a house he owned in Lilburn, Georgia. He asked me to store his stuff at my house until he needed it. Six years ago I thought he wanted me to store it in a storage place… but no, he thought I would keep his FULL 3 Bedroom house in my very full house with 7 bodies in it.

After six long years he is ready to have his stuff back. Wednesday ABF freight dropped off a huge tractor trailer at my house.

My kids thought this thing was a fabulous place to play. Here is #2 through #5 messing around.

#2 likes to change the warning signs on the truck. I’m not sure what #3 is doing here. It looks like she’s kicking him in the head. I’m sure she would say something different.

um.. ok

Here’s #1.. she loves to be photographed. I believe she said; “You better not put this on your blog.” I said: “Huh?” and smiled…

Ok.. sure.

This is my favorite sign.. What are Dummy Gladhands? and why are they on this trailer?
