turns out it is just *like* the suit she wore.

I finally reached 20000 feedback. I would love to say I am happy, and excited about it. Inside I know I have accomplished something.. because my family and I have earned this 20000 feedback. We aren't a big company, I don't have tons of employees.. (I gave birth to all of mine). I am just a mother that kept plugging away at selling.
I've been selling on eBay since March of 1998. That's 13 years! In that time I don't think I've ever experienced as much bad customer service from sellers and as much craziness from buyers as I have in the last couple of weeks. (Seriously I could write a book on some of the strange people I've encountered on eBay.)
This month I've had 2 sellers take 10 days to put my item in the mail. (they are top rated sellers too) I've purchases 2 items that were described as "NEW without tags" but were used.
As a Seller I have had a buyer alter (literally take it apart) and item and leave me a negative because it was not what she wanted. I had another buyer call me, ask for their money back, but wanted to keep the "useless" item. I apologized all over myself, offered to pay return shipping, she agreed to return it, and never did. BUT guess what she did.. left a negative (on how I haven't refunded her money yet). I had a buyer email me through eBay and request I send her an extra item so she will be "surprised and happy".
TWENTY THOUSAND FEEDBACK… that's an accomplishment right? Maybe tomorrow it will feel like it is one.

How Much Would YOU Pay for a Hat?

Did you watch that little wedding a few weeks ago? You know.. THIS ONE

royal wedding, princess catherine, prince william

Did you see this hat um.. fascinator .. um hat?

Princess Beatrice auctioned this bad boy off on eBay this last week. Check it out HERE.

Here's what they said in the auction about it…

"A unique sculptural celebratory headpiece in delicate tea rose silk, designed by one of the UK’s most creative and influential milliners Philip Treacy. A truly individual, fun but elegant wedding bow becomes the fascinator form. This statement piece is worn on the front hairline secured by a clear wire headband that is easily disguised by the wearer’s hair. This s a gravity defying hat!"

When it was all said and done.. the hat sold for $131,341.47.All proceeds went to Unicef and Children in Crisis Charities.. Not bad for a funny looking hat!

You might have seen this going around on Facebook.. pretty awesome huh?

What Have I Got Myself Into?

A couple weeks ago I was contacted by a church about a donation they received. I went and looked at it.. made them an offer and they accepted it.

This is what I saw when I looked in the building… a bunch of empty plastic tubs. #2 wanted the tubs to sort out his Legos.

Once we got all the empty tubs out.. we found thousands of patches, appliques, trim and wedding stuff. There is SO much there.. I'm not sure how to list it, where to list it and how to store it.

I've really am not sure what I got myself into.. This is a lot of stuff. Any ideas on how to sort and store it?
