I've talked about my stalker "Charlie"  HERE   HERE and Here 

In November the court granted stalking orders in place against my stalker "Charles Manson" I call him that because he looks like Charles Manson.. by his own admission he thinks he looks like Jesus.  But there is no way I'm going to call him that.  Charlie appealed the stalking order, and today I received the judges decision to that appeal in the mail. 

Here's my favorite line of the judges ruling:

"The plaintiff met her burden of proof of preponderance of the evidence to show that the defendant has been stalking her, as that term is defined in K.S.A. 60-31a02(a)  The defendant (insert Charlie's real name here) appeal is denied."

 

I'm told he could appeal this to the Kansas Supreme court, but since he was just arrest last month for DUI, possession of pot and criminal felony gun charges, he might want to focus on that instead of me.  Here's hoping and praying this is over.

My week started off at this lovely courthouse. Monday was the big day for the stalking trial.  In short, we won… and I'll tell you all about it soon.  I've had lots of emails from you asking if it was a reader of my blog etc.. I'll answer all those questions in the next couple of weeks. 🙂

It was a busy week.. but I had some downtime and finished a super cute Patti Mann Ballerina Pig Christmas Ornament.

I found out that Walmart (in Kansas) has boiled peanuts.  Some of you are gagging.. but they are some good stuff.. they are better if you get them at a roadside stand in the back roads of south Georgia.

This is #6.. he's one sick baby.  All of my children have been sick in the last 2 weeks. One sick child can make your week long, 7 will make it seem like a month.

There was a big sale this week.. I stood/waited to get in about 2.5 hours. If you are wondering if i bought anything.. I think the next photo will give you the answer.

Old Time Pottery

I saw a few giraffes in Old Time Pottery.  I was there buying plates for our church's advent craft night.

I went to a couple of estate sales.

Which means I have a messy house.

No seriously.. this is in my dining room.

I sell stuff on several different venues.. eBay, Amazon, Etsy, and my own e-commerce site.  I received an email from an Etsy customer that horrified me and made me laugh at the same time.

I hope your family problem improves. I saw the post that appeared on the inside of the paper you used as a mailing label. It sounds as if you and your former son-in-law are having difficulties. 🙁

I wasn't sure what this lady meant…

  1. I'm not having any "family" problems.
  2. I don't have a son-in-law, let alone a former one.
  3. What the heck is she talking about?

Then I realized…. we recycle our copy paper…. and use it for shipping labels. What could have possibly been on the back of the shipping label that would make my customer think I had a "son-in-law" problem? 

Then #1 reminded me we had printed screen shots of the stuff my stalker put on his Facebook page about me. I freaked out.. and then proceeded to go through all the screen shots, trying to figure out why my customer would think he was my son-in-law.  Here's what i came up with…

After reading this you might think I know this guy.. BUT I'VE NEVER MET HIM.. OR SPOKE TO HIM on the PHONE or IN PERSON..

I emailed the customer back, apologized and let them know what had happened.  Fortunately she wasn't offended by his foul language, horrendous spelling and bad grammar.  

From now on we'll be checking to see what we recycle onto the back of our shipping labels. 🙂

You know.. Check yourself before you wreck yourself…

I've had a few people email and ask me how court went yesterday.   It wasn't bad.. but it wasn't great either.  I've talked a little bit about my stalker HERE and HERE and some day soon when this dumb thing is over I will tell you ALL about it.. until then here's what happened yesterday.

We walked into court and the stalker (let's call him Charlie) was brought in his orange and white stripe jumpsuit and was in shackles.  He stared at me and the family I brought for support.  The judge asked if we were ready.. and my attorney (let's call him Superman) said yes.. and what do you think Charlie said? 

"No your honor, since I've been in jail I couldn't get all my witness' ready.  I'm suppose to get out of here by the 23rd, and I'd like 45 extra days to prepare for this trial."

After much thought and looking things up on a computer… the judge gives him the continuance he wants.  So now.. after believing that  it was going to be over on the 1st..of October…  I have to wait until after Thanksgiving for this mess to be over.  The good thing that happened?  The judge told "Charlie" that "if and when he get's out of jail, he's not to post about me or the minor child on social media."

PS.. did you know that if you have on ankle and wrist shackles you can't pick things up on a table without lifting your legs?  I didn't know either until I saw Charlie have an issue with it. 🙂
