Just once in my life I would like to have the right thing to wear to a function. My friend.. my mon ami.. is graduating from Chiropractic School (and moving away from me I might add) in just a few days. She’s also invited me and The Man to a dinner party thing for the graduates. Of course this is in a few days.. and I just NOW thought about buying something.. (nice) Here’s what I would buy if.. I were cool.. (and I’m not). Which do you like the best?
Do you love this? I love it..

- 1940’s Plum Taffeta Evening Gown by Etsy Seller AdelaideHomesewn $215.00 Check it out HERE.
Here’s what Adelaide Home sewn says about this item:
Smashing 1940’s gown in a plum/eggplant fabric which i think is taffeta. the fabric has an irridescence to it. a garland of fabric flowers decorates the neckline with rhinestones on each petal and center of each flower. gorgeous cuffed sleeves and pocket flaps so indicative of 1940’s sytle. I cannot seem to find a flaw on this dress, although it would probably be a good idea to dry clean before worn just to freshen it up a bit 🙂 just let me know if you would like more pictures.
bust; 36-37 inches
waist; 25-26 inches
hips: open.
the tag showing the label has been lost, which is a shame. i bet someone fabulous designed this stunner.
