This particular sign is bolted to a wall in a parking garage in Leawood, Kansas.  I've never seen this sign before… until now.  I've probably parked in this garage once or twice a month for the last year or so.  The main level of this garage is apparently "compact car only". (Which I never knew)  BUT  on the upper level of the garage *ANY * car can park there. 

In my defense, the upper level has a clearance of 6'1".. My lovely 8 passenger vehicle is just slightly taller than that. 

I've ALWAYS parked on the main (lower level) of this garage.. because of the clearance issue.  I even blogged about it HERE.

Apparently you can't park on the main level.. because you'll get one of these.

This is my car… and my stroller. That white thing on the wall is the "sign". You can see my car is parked in the lines with room to spare on this side.

This is my car.. #1 and #3 with my stroller.  You can see I am CLEARLY between the compact car lines here.. and if you the car next to me.. that's not a compact car EITHER.

Dang parking tickets!

By the way #1's shirt reads: "I heart boys that recycle".  She likes the shirt, but thinks she's too old to wear a shirt advertising for a "boy".  I try to tell her they are all boys, but she doesn't believe me.  Just wait #1… you'll figure it out someday.

Just in case I don't post as much as I usually do.. I'm going on a Mission Trip with most of these 16 people + 20 more.  I'm pretty sure I'm going to be fun. If you are the praying kind… We'll need it.

We will be heading to Joplin Missouri for  6 days.. Leaving technology behind.. (I'm not, but they are..) and working on being a light for Jesus.

I had a plan to write a blog about my anniversary that falls on March 17th every year.. but a little German Restaurant in Paola (Beethovans) and a SUPER long trip to the grocery store side tracked me.. and I didn't get it done.

Here's what I wrote LAST YEAR about March 17th…

In case you were wondering… I am alive and blogging again. Last Thursday (January 27th).. I went to see a perinatal specialist about my pregnancy induced hypertension. They put me in the hospital that very day. I thought I would be in the hospital for a couple of weeks and then deliver the baby… but as it turns out my blood work was not so good. I had an emergency C-Section and #6 was born.

Here is our new baby… that's #2's hand holding his foot up.

#6 was born at 33 weeks,.. and will be spending a few weeks in the NICU. He is doing really well. He has been breathing on his own since he was born, and we are now just waiting for him to eat on his own and keep his own body heat.

While her father and I were having babies.. #1 held the fort down.. taking care of the all the monkeys.. and the eBay business. Apparently this was not an easy job, because #5 was super upset that I was gone.

Here's what #2 was doing…

#2 went with me to my dr's appointment on Thursday, and ended up staying with me (at the hospital) until Saturday… then came back and stayed with me until Tuesday. He fed me ice chips, help me out of bed, kept me company when I couldn't sleep.. He's a pretty good kid.

On Monday we had a little excitement… my blood pressure wouldn't go down, so they had to give me IV Labetalol treatments (6 of them).. That's my chart above with time, BP reading and meds given.. You can see I started out with a BP of 220/102 and ended (FINALLY) with 138/60. I'm doing so much better now, and will be doing FANTASTIC when this little number comes home…
