eBay Classes…

I teach a few eBay classes a year for the Olathe Public Library. I've had a variety of experiences and questions from teaching classes over the last 4 years. Like the second class I taught (at the big library in Overland Park) where I had 75 people and over 23 did not have computers! That class had one guy (they all have one) that sort of heckled me. He of course knew more than I did, and wanted a copy of my power point. He asked questions that were not appropriate to the class.. and in general was a pain in the patootie. My class I had today was perfection. They were kind, laughed at my jokes and asked good thoughtful questions. I wanted to take a picture of them… I bring my camera every time to take a photo of my class, but I freak out and don't ever ask them.

If you were in my eBay class would you think it would be weird if I took your picture?

Star Light, Star Bright, I want this Star in my Entryway tonight..

The Man and I agree on more things than we disagree on… BUT.. when it comes to lighting we don’t ever seem to agree. He likes things that are cheap and easy to hang. I like unusual things that probably aren’t so easy to hang.

This is a Moravian Star light… I love it. I’ve loved it since I saw one hanging

on my Mother-in-Law’s porch. This isn’t my Mother-in-Law’s porch.. it’s an eBay

item. Interested? Check it out here

This is the lamp I really want. We saw this lamp in Chattanooga, TN

at Taco Mamacita. If I ever get one.. You’ll be the first to know. 🙂

By the way.. if you ever get to Chattanooga.. and can eat at Taco Mamacita’s..

It is DELICIOUS.. the service is great, the salsas are awesome..

Don’t you think this would look great in my entry way?

Why didn’t this Sell?

I’m not exactly sure where I bought these things. I believe they were in a box of stuff I bought at Strickers Auction. I’ve had a variety of people tell me they were different things..

Some have said they are upholstery pins.

I thought they looked like fancy push pins.

You know the kind you used for bulletin boards? What do you think they are?

Do I have them totally categorized wrong?

Are Hat’s Cool? Should I wear one?

Last night I saw a strange site while running my children around Ottawa.. of course I didn’t have my camera ready.. and I was well, driving.

There was a woman walking out of the Franklin County Courthouse and she

had on the most fabulous hat.

(note.. this is a photo I took in the spring. I REALLY didn’t have my camera)

The mysterous hat woman of Franklin County Kansas started me thinking about wearing hats. I’m not really a hat wearer.. but if I was.. I would buy these.

1. This is a 1940’s Cocoa Straw Tilt Hat. I love the color.. the tilt-iness of it. (Is tilt-iness a word?) Here’s the link if you want to check it out: Cocoa Hat

2. Who doesn’t love a pink hat? I think it’s so cute! Antique 1910 Cloche Hat.

3. 1940’s Wide Brim Hat.. This one just might be my favorite. Huge Picture Hat

4. AAAHHH! I love this one.. I love the colors.. Flapper Hat with Beads

5. I wish this hat was on a head.. so we both could see how FABULOUS it really is. Vintage Pink Feather Hat
