Grounded – Denied – Time Out = ME

I want to take this time to describe who I am from 9:45pm July 12th to 9:46pm July 13th..

Websters Says:

1: a brief suspension of activity : break ; especially : a suspension of play in an athletic game
2: a quiet period used especially as a disciplinary measure for children
3. a brief suspension of play

You see I’ve been put in Time out.. or Grounded.. or Denied… My lovely ISP has grounded me because I have exceeded thier Fair Access Policy or “Bandwidth”. I didn’t do it all on my own.. My children helped me. We downloaded too much stuff, played too many games, uploaded too many photos.

So what’s a girl who makes her living on the internet do?

She goes to Panera and works there!


Work goes by faster if you take a cute kid with you.. I picked #3 today.

Not too bad of a work station.. and they have pretty good soup too!

Happy Birthday To Me…

Today is my birthday.. I have mixed emotions about my birthdays. I mean I’m thankful to be here another year.. but I’m not amused about being older. I know.. I know some people say it means something to be older.. but to me I think our society makes people of a certain age irrelevant. I have felt irrelevant the majority of my life.. so it’s a shame NOW that I finally think I understand some of it, only to find out that I am thought of as irrelevant. Does that make sense?

Enough with my wining.. lets see what was going on here today…. The cutest thing happened last night, #4 slept on the floor in my bedroom so he could be the first to tell me Happy Birthday.. How sweet is that? I took ALL of the monkey’s to lunch today and we ran a few errands… I don’t know why I didn’t take very many photos of that…

I went to dinner with a few friends to celebrate my birthday.. and to celebrate our church’s Christian Ed Director (she’s awesome) 🙂

I received this super cute.. handmade scrapbook.. (this is just one page of it) I love it!

After dinner I headed home to have some cake with the family 🙂

That’s a Starbucks Insulated tumbler. It’s acrylic, and is made to look like one of the Starbucks glasses they handout.

I’ve wanted one for awhile.. but couldn’t find one. Except on eBay where they go for quite a pretty penny..

(what is a pretty penny?)

OOOH.. I wanted some new RED rubber scrapers.. and I got them!

(I keep telling The Man I am a simple woman.. with simple needs)

What’s the Difference between Etsy & eBay?

I had someone ask me what the difference was between Etsy and eBay.. I told them one is for vintage or handmade items (Etsy) and the other was for anything and everything. While I was thinking about my statement to my friend, I realized it would be so much easier to show the difference here:

eBay Can Make a 4 Year Old Very Happy

Number 5 loves Spiderman. When we found these Marvel Super Heros Squad figures, he went crazy. The first one I bought him was Spiderman.

You couldn’t tell that he loves Spiderman could you? He wanted the Green Goblin, he pretends his dad (The Man) is the Green Goblin. We couldn’t find the evil green guy ANYWHERE.. until we looked on eBay. It came today, and he’s one happy kid (if you couldn’t tell).
