Whine.. Whine… All that Girl does is Whine..

Can I whine? I really want to… Dang it.. it’s my blog.. I’m going to whine.

Tuesday was an unusual day.. I took the Shipping Manager for a tune-up (you know the dr). Then we drove around O-Town preparing it for August 2nd-7th of 2009.  (I’ll share that little nugget later) I came home thinking I was going to work on eBay stuff…

I didn’t…

I worked on my new Ask the eBay Queen Website. It’s not done.. It’s no where near being done. I can’t get it to do what I wanted it to do…

I want it to be cute, informative, and funny.  I want it to have 5 areas for people to go to.. so they don’t have to see ALL of the junk that spills out of my head. (unless they really want to)  Is this possible?  I hope so..

I worked on eBay stuff today.  I even modeled some shoes.. No.. they are not mine.. but I need a pair since they add 6" to my height!

Dang.. that girl needs a ped-egg

But really all I can think about is that website.  I need some serious help.. but I can’t find any… that doesn’t want $2500.00.  So I will keep trudging along until it is done.  I promise I won’t work on it until Friday.. tomorrow  I will work on eBay and then head to  Girl Scouts.  Because after all tomorrow is another day.

I feel like Scarlett O’Hara…

What is Wrong With Humans These Days.. or eBay Buyers Can Be a Pain in the Patootie..

                                                                                                This is how I feel..

I’ve been putting off my blogging today, because I’ve just had the urge to be sarcastic and rude most of the day.  Why you ask?  If you sell on eBay you know why..  come on.. take a guess.. it starts with a B and ends in R.  IT’s a BUYER.. Now if you are a Buyer, please don’t think this is about you, unless of course it is, then well, change your ways!

So the day started out pretty good.. and then I received the email that puts a fear into most seller’s hearts…

Subject: New Significantly Not as Described Dispute: Case #PP-000-00-000

Dear Dumb Seller, (that’s me)

This BUYER has opened a dispute for the payment made on Mar 21, 2009

indicating that the item they received did not match the original

description.

THIS BUYER has requested a $12.99 USD refund.

Now.. I know I should not be upset over $12.99.. and really I am not.  It’s what this buyer who has 3548 feedback ) said in the dispute. ** a little side note.. the "buyer" was also a Seller.. of the SAME item she bought from me**

She told PayPal this item was "not as described" and that she has given me ample time to resolve the problem.  HA.. She hasn’t even EMAILED me to tell me there was a problem!  Had she emailed.. we wouldn’t be having this blog.  It’s the fact she lied about contacting me (to make me look like a schmoe with PayPal), and kept the item almost 2 weeks.

I know that I won’t win in this situation AT ALL… No matter what happens, I will lose this dispute. I don’t want a buyer to be unhappy.  I want them to like their product.  I just don’t like being lied about.. by someone that knows better.  I will gracously take the item back and block the snarky hag from my auctions

You Vote in a What? or Lack of stuff to talk about…

My brain has been working on a new website, and my head is DONE thinking about  all things Internet.  I know some of you are thinking.. "you work with Internet stuff all the time!"  You would be right.. but  I don’t create websites! HTML scares the ba-jeb-uhs (is this a word?) out of me.  So I’m going to blog about something that doesn’t make me think of my lack of skills in writing HTML.

I moved out to the middle of no where in 1994.  The Man already lived on 40 acres out here… I’ve NEVER (read that one more time) NEVER EVER wanted to live in the country. I had a goal and it was not to live out here.  Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t trade my life for anything… But moving out here was a real challenge for me.

Back in November some of my online eBay friends were talking about where we voted, how many people were there, and how long they waited.  My eBay friends are from all over!  There is Bettye, and Stacey in New York, Jacki in San Diego and Kat in Colorado Springs (just to name a few).. My little voting place was really different than all of theirs!  Maybe it’s different from yours too..

I vote at the Briles School House.  It’s a pretty cool building that used to be a one room school house.  It sits on a Kansas road, surrounded by farm land.  The kids and I went and voted on that beautiful November day.. around 1:30PM.

The School House from the Road.. You can see it’s packed with the 4 cars out front!

There wasn’t really a wait.. since I chit-chatted with Mrs B.. I should tell you Mrs. B. is a REAL Farm Wife (and my neighbor). Sometimes I have seen her fixing  fences in the creek, throwing hay, and doing chores I could not imagine even attempting.

I made child #2 stand in one of the booths so it would look full Don’t you love the picture of George Washington on the wall?

                                                                                                                My Ballot…

This was my ballot, which I marked with a pencil, then slid into a large metal box, that looked like the school’s metal shop put it together.  This all may seem really foreign to you.. but it’s just my life.

Here’s a little something weird to know about me.  I didn’t know who I was going to vote for (for President) until I got in the booth.. and then when I came home I cried.. because I thought I might have voted for the wrong one..  what a mess!
