Pepper Berry Plants?

We have these weird plants with berries that grow in the late fall around my house. I’ve always called them pepper berries. I don’t think that’s what they really are..

Pretty aren’t they?

I sent #2 and #3 out to find some to use to fill the vases we have.

I gave #2 specific instructions to take photos of #3 cutting the berries.

This is the only “head shot” I got of #3. Not the most attractive photo.

She looks like she’s afraid of the camera!

Here’s the other photo he took of her.. She has a really nice

forearm huh?

Nice photo of a pretty November Sky.

I love color of these berries with the lime green yellow of the leaves.

I wish the leave stayed this color when I put them in my vases.

My favorite photo! I love the evergreen plant with the berries.

I found this photo at the end of the set of Pepper Berry Pictures.

Maybe this is #3’s way at getting back #2 with the dorky picture…

I know that is my plan. 🙂

True Love..

I love to see my children sleeping… it’s always a bonus when one of the animals is with them. #4 is always moving, he is the first one up in the morning and would be the last one to go to bed if I let him. But sometimes he crashes. Here is a good example of that.

This cat is called Haskell.. as in “Eddie Haskell. You know the

obnoxious kid from Leave it to Beaver? He was re-name Gregory

after #2 saw the movie Talladega Nights the Ballad of Ricky Bobby.

Here’s the story behind “Gregory”

Aren’t they cute?

Gregory and I have had our differences.. but when he’s so

sweet to #4 it makes me love him more.

More Photos from My Phone…

I found the file that holds all of my OLD photos from my camera.. Pretty interesting stuff. NOT!

#3 at her dance recital photo shoot in 2007.

How cute! #3 and her friend at dance.

Nancy Boyda (who was our state representative back in 2007) is the woman in this photo. She

came to the Potters Wheel Coffee shop to answer questions and talk to whoever wanted

to listen. I talked to her about the new (to 2007) postal rate hike

I took #1 to get new glasses.. She couldn't decide which glasses she wanted so I had #2-#5

wear the one's she liked.

Here's #5 looking dashing.

Yes.. that's my son #5. I'm a horrible mother. I gave him a "baby hawk" (instead of a mo hawk).

I know he'll need therapy for it later. We have a special fund set up just for therapy.

Here's #2 and Connie. I don't know what to say about his hair… All I know

is he loved his hair to be that way.

Here's #5 with his first ice cream cone. During this phase of his life (and mine) I thought by NOT

cutting his hair he would stay a baby. It didn't work.

Here it is

The poppy's significance to Veteran's Day or Remembrance Day is a result of Canadian military physician John McCrae's poem In Flanders Fields. The poppy emblem was chosen because of the poppies that bloomed across some of the worst battlefields of Flanders in World War I, their red colour an appropriate symbol for the bloodshed of trench warfare. An American YMCA Overseas War Secretaries employee, Moina Michael, was inspired to make 25 silk poppies based on McCrae's poem, which she distributed to attendees of the YMCA Overseas War Secretaries' Conference. She then made an effort to have the poppy adopted as a national symbol of remembrance, and succeeded in having the National American Legion Conference adopt it two years later.
