I admit I’m lazy.  Some people don’t think so.. but deep down inside I know the truth. I take short cuts.. and sometimes I’m just too tired to read.  Wait… what?  Yes.. I said it.. I’m too tired to read.  Here’s proof.

#2 is looking a little tired himself!

I bought this hoodie for #2 for his birthday.  I thought he’d like the orange and burgundy. It must have been one of those days when I was too tired to read.

Actually I saw the “Surf Crazy” on the front, and didn’t think much of it.  I was more concerned about the “bedazzle -ing” that had happened in some places.

See those little white dots?  Those are not really rhinestones, but more like little crystals.  Are those manly? They didn’t seem to bother #2.  He liked the colors.

He was sitting on the floor with his hood up and I noticed this!  “Pray for Surf”.  The kid lives in Kansas…

Does this mean he’s the Twitter King?  Nice Bedazzling..

We’ve lived in our house for about 9 years.  The Man and I designed the house  and built it thinking it would be complete and finished 6 months to a year after we built it.  Almost 9 years has gone by and we are still living in a house without knobs on the cabinets, properly set doors and landscaping, as in NO landscaping.

The Man is really good with all things electrical.  Putting up lights and the thought of being shocked doesn’t phase him… except the light in my kitchen.  For some reason he’s just doesn’t want to tackle that.  (it’s partially my fault.)  I don’t want you to think we don’t have a light in the kitchen, because we do.  It’s just we have a plain Jane kind of fixture and I want a fancier one.  What I would like for it to look like is this:

The man says that he would have to put extra holes in the ceiling to make this kind of light work.  (I would like multiple pendant lights.(

I love this pot rack type light.  I just don’t have any nice looking pots to hang from it.  My mother-in-law has one of these and she has beautiful copper pans and vintage copper things hanging from it.

This light would be perfect in my upstairs hallway… We have already purchased the fixtures for up there.  He hasn’t put those up yet. ..but that’s another blog for another day.

This looks like a simple chenille blanket huh?  I had 3 of them at one time.

They were perfect, new and in the original packaging.

Here’s more information than you really wanted to know about me…

1.  What was your favorite childhood television program? I loved “I Dream of Jeannie”… “Gilligan’s Island” and the “Brady Bunch”.  My mom would let me watch them when I got home from school if I didn’t get a check mark next to my name for talking in class.  Also, “I Dream of Jeannie” prepared me for saying “Yes Master!” to The Man.

2. Are you a morning or night person? Night.  I think move and act better in the evening. A perfect day for me would be waking up at 9:00 am taking a nap at 2:00PM and going to bed at around 1:30AM or 2:00AM.  (yes.. I am a freak show)

3. Which do you prefer, sweet or salty foods? Both.  Have you see me lately?

4. Autobots or Decepticons? I asked #5 about this.. He loves Transformers See Here and Here He told me I should like Autobots.. So well I guess I do.

5. Apple juice or orange juice? Orange Juice please. I like orange juice, but don’t have it very often in my house.  My kids drink it like it has healing powers.  When I was a kid my mother equated orange juice with wealth.

6.  Are you a collector of anything? I collect American Bisque Pigs, and Adams Calyxware Metz dishes.  I’ve also been know to collect a quilt or two.

7.  If you could have any superpower, what would it be? Invisibility.. But I would never be invisible.. because I’d always be running my mouth.

8. Ever been addicted to a video/computer game? Which one(s)? Solomon’s Key back when I was in school and now maybe Super Mario Brother’s Wii.  I like to play it with my kids.  They are amazed at my “mad” skills.

9. Have any celebrity crushes? Jeff Goldblum, Mike Rowe, Hank Azaria, Stanley Tucci  I have strange taste in men huh?  I wonder what that says about The Man?

10. Name 1 regret you have: Not being close to my siblings.

11.  What’s your favorite song of the moment? Born Again by Third Day

12. What would be your dream job? I have my dream job.  I work from my home when I want too..I buy cool stuff for other people, homeschool my kids, and have time to be involved in what I want to be involved in.

13. Name 1 thing not many people know about you: I have freakishly weird alien toes.  One day, when I believe the public can handle it.. I will show you photos.

14. Do you believe in the afterlife? Yes
