If you follow my blog you know I like to pick 5 things I want on Etsy or eBay.. but today I thought I would pick out the 5 things my kids want on eBay. I think you just might be surprised at their choices, or you might realize how spending their formative years with me has warped them. I knew The Man should have been a stay at home dad…

#1′s Selection…

Glassactcc Focal Bead. This bead is called Witch Crash.

#1 loves lampwork or hand made glass beads. She wanted

a Halloween or Twilight set. Sadly there were none listed on eBay today

#2′s Selection..

Uniden BCD996XT Digital Mobile Scanner with 25,000 Channels and GPS Support.

I have no idea why #2 wants a Police scanner.. but I’m pretty sure it will only add to his

nerdiness.

#3′s Selection…

Huge Lot of American Girl Doll Clothes. #3 LOVES her American Girl Doll.

I’m pretty sure I would have wanted one when I was her age too.

#4 would love a remote control Helicopter..

#5 Wants this Ben 10 watch..

He love’s this show.. When I go to Target he

reminds me I need to get him one.

I took some photos from how I see my kids doing school… So here it is, our second week of school. They all look like they just woke up… but at least they are working..

Who says they can’t concentrate? Maybe they could if I’d quit taking their photos and at least get the hair out of their eyes!

I’m not going all goth (or is it emo? ) on anyone.. but I really love to take photos at night. It started a couple of years ago, right after I received my camera. I took a few photos just for fun of my kids in the dark.. Anyone who has read my blog knows I’m not a photographer… but I love the way these photos look.

This photo was taken of #5 on the 4th of July two years ago.

#1 looking like she’s ready to say something prolific.

When I take these, I just point in the direction the people are… and have the flash on.

Sometimes they look really neat, other times funny.. and sometimes just bad.

She could be praying that I don’t take her photo.. or she might be asleep.

#3 looks abused in this photo.. but she really just got done yelling at #2.

Here’s #3 and her Best Friend. They are pretty cute huh?

I love the way the black surrounds the photo and just lights them up.

There is probably a special name for this.. but as I said.. I’m not a photographer.

Friday is here.. and I think I’m Ready.  This weekend is the Confirmation Class Spring Retreat.  I won’t have internet access.. so I am scheduling my blogs to post. If I had internet access you could see what was happening while it happened..  I could try to write a blog from my phone.. but even I’m not sure if I can do that!

Here’s our Winter Retreat:

This retreat was held up by Topeka Kansas at a Girl Scout Camp.  I believe it was in Dover Kansas.  We had a great time, working, learning about our faith, eating, roaming the camp grounds and just hanging out.

I really LOVE these kids. I took most of them on a mission trip last summer, and I had the honor of co-teaching them in this confirmation class.

I guess they thought it would be fun to plastic-wrap a kid to a pole. Don’t tell their parent.. oh wait.. I am that kid’s parent.
