I heard that Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed were married this weekend.  I thought I would see how KISS and Gene Simmons memorabilia was selling on eBay.  (I have a few Kiss and Gene Simmons things I could sell) Apparently eBay is having issues with search today… so I found the most unusual thing… Kiss Shoestrings..

I love to look at wedding stuff. .. even though I’ve been married to The Man for a while now.  I over heard a woman talking at Goodwill about Wedding Cake toppers.   Which made me think about the vintage wedding cake toppers I’ve sold on eBay.. and  *MY* wedding.

My wedding cake didn’t have a topper.. It was a “Martha Stewart” designed cake.. out of her original wedding book.

This isn’t a great photo of it.. but it’s my wedding cake.  I had lots of kids in my wedding party, and knew there would be children at our wedding… so I ordered  50 GIANT cupcakes  for the kids.

Last week Jay Leno had the group KISS on the Tonight Show.  Being the

super hip family we are.. (insert laughing here).  We have Rock Band and

the Guitar Hero games.. so my kids have some music knowledge that most 7 and

5 year olds don’t have. (or at least that’s how I’m going to explain it).

My kids were in BED and came running in to watch Kiss on TV.  #5 brought

his father’s Gene Simmon’s doll to hold up while the group sang.  Paul

Stanley doesn’t look too bad right?
