Last night I hung out at Strickers Auction…  here's what I saw…

Moon and Stars Jardinaire…sold for 35.00 with the bowl underneath.

Here's something you don't see everyday… A Cherry Mash toilet seat.  I have no idea how this faded…(I'm not sure I want to know either)  but I bet it would have been a pretty good seller on eBay.

I wanted this.. I was inside when it sold.. and forgot to tell #2 to bid on it.

I love needlepoint.. this was a crate full of it.. and that orange metal lunch pan is pretty awesome too.  I won this crate.. along with all of this:

I'm not even sure what all this stuff is… but it's mine now.

They had these 2 new stainless steel fridges.  The Man came to the auction just to bid on these.  They went WAY to high.. almost retail for them.

Hello shabby new dining room chairs… some of you might be counting only 4 chairs and realize there are 8 in my family.  You would be right.. BUT I like to mix my furniture up a bit.. and these will do that nicely

Silverware.. stoneware bowl.. and some spray paint for all that tagging I like to do!

Saturday's To Do…

• Wii Fit
• Go to an auction
• cut #4 and #5's hair.
• Figure out where I am going to put the dresser I bought at the auction
• Work on the School Room
• Work on estate website
• Fix pictures
• Start dinner for Sunday
• Dinner= Steak, baked potatoes, green beans, rolls, salad

Monday I went to Strickers Auction. If you've never been there, it will fascinate you.

They had some really neat bulbs and flowers..

I forgot about these dishes.. and left before they got to them

See the guy with 109 in his pocket? That's 109.. see the other guy? That's Jerry Stricker.. he owns the place. He auctions the junk outside.

Rows of stuff

I love that first shelf.. but don't have any place for it.. well maybe the school room. I love that yellow lamp but not the shade. The buffet table wanted to come home with me.. but I didn't want The Man to have a cow.

Check out this car.. it's where the clerk sits.. in the heat or a/c. Pretty unique huh?

Saturday I went to a auction at the Eastern Kansas Auction Barn. They had lots of great stuff there. Unfortunately they had lots of people willing to pay LOTS of money for it. I really liked these lamps.

See that lampshade? It was attached to a pretty cool lamp. I think it sold for

about $200.00

Germany Glasses… and decanter

I REALLY REALLY wanted this Smiley Pig cookie jar. I was the high bidder.. until someone else said they were the high bidder. It went for $50.00. Which is more than I wanted to pay for a cookie jar for myself.

Rogers 1881 Silver…

Hull Pottery. They sold this by the piece. It averaged about 40-65 a piece.

I had to leave early to take the Youth Group to a concert… but this was probably one of the best auctions** I've been to in a while..
